Hello,
All the business paperwork is now in-transit. It's amazing how many little things you need to get "just right." While we're waiting to be 'legal" to stock the store, the Paypal account is up and I'm working on figuring out how to creating invoices and the such. Another week has passed, so that means another giveaway! While I took last week's comments seriously, I'm currently doing some sewing for a giveaway from Bouncing Woolies, LLC. Check them out on facebook-when they reach 6,500 fans they're doing a major giveaway and Fluffy Green Earth products will be present in some of those prize groupings! I decided to go a different route this week-having just celebrated Mother's Day, I thought I'd offer a little something for moms or daughters!
This giveaway begins right now and ends on May 12th at 8pm EST. One lucky winner will receive three different flower hair bows (exact ones pictured above and to the left). The first is a 4.5 inch yellow Gerbera daisy attached to a green ribbon covered french clip. The center white flower is 2.5 inches and attached to a double prong rainbow ribbon covered pinch clip. The third is an orange flower with brown velvet flower accent and faux pearl, attached to a single prong green ribbon covered pinch clip. These types of hair accessories will eventually sell at Fluffy Green Earth in bundles of 3 for around $7.50. To be qualified for the giveaway, all you have to do is "like" the fluffy green Earth facebook page. To enter, make a comment below and then check back on May 8th! Have you ever worn a flower (real or manufactured) in your hair for the day...if so, did it make you just a little happier?
Yes, a few times! The one that stands out to me is when I was in London for the first time and I bought a bright pink Gerber Daisy and wore it through the day while sight seeing. I felt extra special cause I was in a new place and wearing something I normally wouldn't wear in my hair. :)

Yes, and it does make you happier! When I was in Kauai for our honeymoon, I used to pluck a plumeria bloom from the tree by our condo and wear it for the day....it smelled SO nice! :) And I felt pretty too!
ReplyDeleteI have my daughter wear flowers on her hair all the time. Does it make her happier? It sure makes her look more lovely and cheerful :) ...and she walks around with a great big smile on her face :)

I have, and not only did it make me feel happy, but it seemed like people who saw me and noticed the flower were more likely to smile. I love the flower hairclips. Hair pretties (as my daughter calls them) are such a great way to get a little happiness!

I have, if only for a few minutes before they fell out-- definitely felt fancy though! Lots of fun. My daughter's eyes light up when I put clips in her hair and mine at the same time, neat to see how special things like this affect us even from a young age.
ReplyDeleteI personally have never worn a flower in my hair, but my daughter has! She loves being girlie and showing off her flower. Since she's so excited to wear it, I can't help but be happy, too!
